Delete your ResiSet account

You can delete your ResiSet account and the information stored under it at any time. You don't need the app installed to ask.

In the app

Profile › Delete my account. The app first checks that nothing is left owing (a booked clean, a hold on a card, a dispute) and tells you what happens to anything in progress; then it removes the account and everything stored under it on the server.

By email

Write to support@resiset.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We run the same deletion within 30 days and confirm by email. We may ask you to confirm from that address first.

What is deleted

Your profile, name, picture and introduction video; your places, cleans, requests, messages and reports; your ratings and the ones you gave; your phone number for texts; your card on file and your Stripe account link. Photos and videos of cleans are deleted from storage.

What is kept

• Records of payments, refunds and payouts, for as long as tax and payment law require (typically seven years), with your name on the transaction and nothing else.
• Ratings other people received from you stay on their profile without your name.
• A record of the legal texts you agreed to, and of any report made about safety, for as long as the Privacy Policy says.

An account with a clean still booked, a hold still on a card or a dispute open can't be deleted until that is settled; the app or our reply says what to do first.
